Certified Public Accountant
Brenda McDuffie, Executive Accountant, is responsible for corporate finance and accounting responsibilities and is responsible for all general accounting practices, payroll, budgeting, and development of internal accounting controls, as well as preparing periodic financial statements and reports. She is responsible for developing a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s financial results, and ensure that results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
Brenda’s experience includes 17 years in public accounting where she managed and directed numerous audit and regulatory compliance engagements. While in this role, she maintained key client relationships and was a critical part of the firm’s leadership team. Additionally, Brenda was the CFO and owner of Barr Air Patrol, LLC, a multi-state aerial pipeline patrol company. She controlled all aspects of financial reporting, monitored debt levels and related covenants, created budgets and forecasts to ensure the company’s financial success, and oversaw compliance with numerous state and federal tax filings. Brenda graduated in 1984 from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance and Accounting. She became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1986.
